1940
During the German occupation in World War II, the Concordia committee decided to suspend the rehearsals. However, the choir continued to sing the Sunday masses.
1941
The committee was requested to deliver the Concordia flag to the German occupant. The society had two flags at that time. The president sacrificed the old flag from 1885, the new one dating from 1935 was well hidden and outlasted the war.
After the death of Martin Conrad, who was the Concordia president for 58 years, Louis Leider was elected the second president in the choir's history.
1945
After the end of the war, the choir's rehearsals and other activities were resumed. The church of Erpeldange was badly damaged during the war, so that the masses had to take place in the castle of Erpeldange awaiting the repairs.
