1961
|
The youth section initiated a carnival parade
where also some music instruments were played. This brought up the idea to
transform the youth section of the choir into a music section.
On June 7 the first instruments were bought and handed out on the next day.

1964
|
The Concordia statutes were modified in
order to increase the size of the committee. Four representatives of the
music section were added to the seven members who formed the committee
up to then.

1965
|
The UGDA (Union Grand-Duc Adolphe) federation
decided to list our society under the name "Société de Chant et de
Musique Concordia" (Choir and Band Concordia).

1970
|
Louis Leider, president for 28 years, retired
from his post. His son Joseph Leider was elected as his successor and thus
became the third president of Concordia.

1971
|
Pierre Reeff, member for 35 years and director
of the choir for 23 years, resigned.
His post as director was taken over by Joseph Wilmes.

|
1976
|
Concordia obtained a new flag, designed by
Professor Edmond Lux and sponsored by 22 inhabitants of Erpeldange. The
celebrations took place on November 21.

1981
|
The extraordinary general assembly of December 8
decided to transform the society in a not-for-profit organisation (a.s.b.l. =
"Association sans but lucratif"). This allowed Concordia to acquire an old
house dating from the 17th century. The renovation was supported by
the national "Sites et Monuments" office. The renovated house was given the
name "Kluck" and is used since for different events.

1984
|
Concordia celebrated the 100th
anniversary of its choir and, at the same time, two years in advance,
the 25th birthday of its band. The celebrations went from June 30
to July 15 with many concerts, and an interesting book was edited to
commemorate the event.

1993
|
The number of male members of the choir
decreased constantly. therefore, the committee took the decision
to open the choir also for female members. This laid the foundation for
a new uptake as a mixed choir.

1994
|
Joseph Wilmes retired as the director of
the choir; he was replaced by Paul Wagener from Hosingen.
|
|
2000
|
After six years as the director of the
choir, Paul Wagener was replaced by Christian Gérard who left, due
to professional requirements, after six months only. At the end of 2000,
Henri Bissen, originating from Vichten, was nominated director of the
Concordia choir.

2001
|
Since Henri Bissen was also director of the
choir "Ste Cécile Schieren" it was decided to organise a common concert
which was given with great success both in Erpeldange and in Schieren.
